Auto Insurance Rates

 In Blog

Is it any wonder that car insurance isn’t getting any cheaper?  Take a look at this article from PropertyCasualty360.  Auto insurance premiums have been increasing since 2008-2009.  We can’t get cheaper premiums because, as a whole, we’re driving more miles and getting in more car accidents.  In addition, those car insurance claims are getting more expensive each year.  Costs are increasing due to the greater technology being placed in vehicles.  Ten years ago, most cars didn’t have backup cameras, bumper sensors, rain sensors, or any other of a half dozen technologies that we rely on today.  When someone gets in a car accident, many of these have to be replaced which is quickly increasing the cost of claims and therefore the cost of our insurance.
